This is a deep-route material, not an early shallow-biome pickup. The known deposits sit below 250 meters, so vehicle depth, tool power and a clear return line matter more than carrying a large general-purpose loadout.
Tadpole Depth Module
Current route guides recommend the depth upgrade before descending around the Alien Ruins. Do not rely on an unmodified vehicle for the full collection loop.
Sonic Resonator
Conduit Crystal nodes are harvested by blasting them with the Sonic Resonator. Charge the tool before leaving base.
Beacon and five free slots
Mark the Angel Comb route and leave room for at least five crystals, enough for the two currently documented upgrade recipes.

GameSpot lists two Conduit Crystals in the Feedback Resonator upgrade recipe, alongside the Sonic Resonator, Enameled Glass and Strontium.
Bioscanner — 3 crystals
PC Gamer lists three Conduit Crystals for the Bioscanner upgrade, together with a Scanner and two Enameled Glass.
Practical target — 5 crystals
Collecting five covers both currently documented upgrades. Keep extras only if a later patch adds recipes or you want a safety reserve.

Why you cannot find or harvest it
Most failed searches begin too high, follow the wrong biome list or overlook the ledge below a visible node. Diagnose the route before assuming the save is broken.
You are above the cluster
The documented route sits below 250 meters around the Alien Ruins and Angel Comb. Install the Tadpole Depth Module and descend safely.
You searched unrelated biomes
Use the Alien Power Plant, Angel Comb, purple tube and green pools as landmarks instead of older or unrelated Subnautica location lists.
The deposit does not break
Confirm that the Sonic Resonator is charged and aimed at the protruding resource growth, not a decorative alien surface.
